The Ivory Dental Group offers oral sedation (basically a pill you take before your appointment). This option requires you to come to the office and leave the office with a chaperone/driver. You are fully awake during treatment, but will feel very relaxed. Because each of our patients are different, the doctor will discuss your options and will help you decide the correct level that will fulfill your treatment, anxiety, and overall health needs.

Oral Medications
Oral medications can be taken prior to your dental appointment. Oral medications help to keep you relaxed throughout your appointment. Typically, these medications are taken in the office an hour before your appointment. Some medications will help you feel relaxed, and others have an effect that can make you feel drowsy. Consuming oral medications may result in little to no memory of the procedure. When choosing this option, you are required to bring someone to drive you to and from your appointment.
